Our Story

Northeastern Pennsylvania, whose waters are steeped in American angling history, boasts some of the best fly fishing for trout in the East.  We are ideally nestled between the Poconos and the Catskills, where trout streams pop up around every corner. Among our prime trout waters are the Delaware, Lehigh, Brodhead, Lackawaxen & Lackawanna River, which was a heavily polluted urban waterway for many decades during the region's coal-mining heyday. Today, thanks to the efforts of local conservationists and fly fishermen, the Lackawanna is a trophy trout fishery full of wild brown trout. We've been fishing these waters for decades, and are happy to have the opportunity to pass our knowledge onto you.



2024 - A&G Turns 20! 

This upcoming spring we'll be celebrating our 20th year as your, northeast Pennsylvania, fly shop and outfitter. We owe it all to a dedicated and loyal customer base, and the love and support of our friends and family. We'd like to thank everyone who makes it possible for us to do what we love everyday of our lives. It's been a wonderful twenty years! Let's hope the future is filled with even more fish and good friends!
