Some of the best smallmouth bass fishing in the country can be found top to bottom on this multiple state monster. Great for wading, especially in the low flows of late summer, but there's no better way to attack this fishery than by boat. Nothing fills the summer trout lull like chasing smallies on a fly rod! Spring is the time for seeking out large, prespawn fish, cruising the shallows for bait and crayfish. Summer is early morning topwater time. And fall provides great visuals of aggressive fish attacking big streamers! Musky, pike, carp, walleye and catfish round out the Susky's offerings.
