Well, the East Branch has really taken a turn for the worst as the release is now under 100cfs. Not much help is coming out of the Beaverkill either. Best bet would be to avoid the East Branch going forward. The West, on the other extreme, is very high, and currently unwadable. On the positive side, the higher release has kept the water warm and the BWOs popping. We've been seeing pretty consistent dry fly action for an hour or two every afternoon. The Main Stem has been the best of both worlds over the past month and has remained wadable while also seeing some bugs and producing some nice and happy rainbows!

Hatching:

  • Olive Caddis #16-18

  • BWOs #20-22

  • Hebe #16-18

  • Cahills #14
